How to Live a Sugar-Free Life

How to Live a Sugar-Free Life

The Mentally you Really Need to Have to Give Up Sugar

They say that you have to cut out all sugar-including fruits-to lose weight. What if I were to tell you that was so far from the truth? I lost 67 pounds throughout the quarantine and still had a lot of candy and fruit throughout my diet but focused on mentally and emotionally healing myself to lose the weight.

It is only now, that I am focusing on cutting the sugar and reprograming my mind to be a person who is in control of her eating habits that I am now working on teaching you how to do the same.

.

When I mean I had a serious addiction to sugar, I mean serious-that was candy each and every single day after lunch even with a coffee; two coffees a day with three packs of sugar; before I started my health and wellness life I had soda addiction it was to the point that my gut was extremely sluggish and I was very bloated.

Now, I know that sugar is something to be enjoyed in luxury; sitting at a table or at an outing celebrating; not bingeing.

However, what caused that glow up mentally?

Let’s discuss.

You are not your thoughts-you are your new identity.

You have to ask yourself, what are you getting when eating some cheap af sugar from the Walgreens up the street?

I will answer this for you-NOTHING except for diabetes. Do you not see the people around you who are also in the line of the pharmacy?

What are they there for? All this medication, that I am 100% sure that food, nutrition, and reprogramming of a new identity can help with.

However, what people fail to realize; is that they have to take charge of the situation and that situation is not always their environment but their mindset.

Look at the soda intake that you’re consuming-per week; if it is just a can of soda a day; even if it is a miniature can of soda a day.

It is 25 g of sugar that is TWICE the amount of sugar to be consumed in an adult per day; I can’t even wrap my head around how much sugar it is if you drink that in 7 days.

Your stomach walls must be in PAIN.

What are you drinking sugar for?

Many people drink sugar for the energy-however, I challenge you to start drinking sugar for different viable options such as only for events like the Sugarfactory, early morning sunrises, a picnic at the park, or events that are scheduled and planned around your diet.

.

The key thing is that you’re aware and people who are successful are highly aware of what they are doing so they can achieve their goals.

You’re most likely thinking what can you drink to supplement sugar cravings?

This is something that I highly RECOMMEND and it is CALLED ZOA Energy and I love it because it is extremely low in sugar and very high in minerals from what the nutrition and ingredient label tells me.

However, you do not want to be drinking these every day. You want to be only drinking one every other week because the key to having energy is good sleep.

What Sugars Should You Really Be Giving Up?

You noticed that I mentioned that I didn’t give up candy or sugar during my weight loss journey; however, I am now more conscious of being a sugar-free person.

The goal is not to have a miserable life but a life to be healthy and well-balanced mentally, physically, and emotionally through food.

What I want you to concentrate on is food without refined sugar which means; I want you to eat real healthy food that is actually GROWN and WAS ALIVE at some point in time.

Yes the ZOA energy drink is okay but it is not going to replace a healthy night's sleep and the reason why you don’t sleep is that you think you can accomplish building Rome in a day; life simply doesn’t work like that.

Overall, the mind that you need in giving up sugar is that you can enjoy fruits, you can enjoy luxury sugars however, you want to ask yourself do you want to be a basic human who is chronically depressed eating out of a Walgreens bag of Reese pieces because that is the energy you’re on when you’re consuming that sugar consistently vs. Easter egg hunting and eating the Reese pieces eggs from the eggs you found.

They are two completely different experiences. What experiences do you want to have?
