How to Overcome Depression and Anxiety

Tips on How you Can Practically Take on Depression and Anxiety.

Depression and anxiety almost overcame my entire life and if I allowed it I would have let it.  In this blog post, I’m going to give you practical steps on how to get out of depression and anxiety so you can speed up the path to recovery.


In order to recover, you have to ask yourself what are you depressed about? Are you depressed that you’re not living your life the way you thought it should be? 


If so then we have to ask ourselves how do we create it daily while being grateful for the things we have now.

Identify What are you Depressed About.



You can do this by asking yourself where do you want to be in the next six months to a year and start working on that as a goal. Remember small daily steps is always a win.



You also have to understand that happiness begins right here in the now and it is not outside of you. No matter what. 



Learn how to be happy right now and be grateful for the things you get to experience no matter how small they may be it is toward your goals. 



Eat Fruits and Vegetables 



It is proven that fruits and vegetables tackle depression head-on because food helps increase mood levels. 



Ask yourself when was the last time you actually ate a healthy meal that contain fruits, vegetables, and meats?



That should give you an indication of how you’re doing in your food department and clue on how to overcome depression and anxiety.

Start a Work Out Routine 



I really truly don’t want to sound like Elle Wood here, however, happy people don’t really go around shooting everyone when they work out. 



Stop being afraid of the gym. A gym is a safe place for you to grow and play and no one is looking at you but yourself. 


Self Love Begins with YOU



The next thing that you need to do is to start loving you; love you and all of it because, to be honest you’re on track toward your goals and not giving up and that my friend is the biggest win.
