How to Be Mentally Healthier
Are you constantly fatigued and stressed? Do you find that you’re snapping at others and losing your temper? Do you find yourself just done wanting a better life?
The key is learning how to become healthier mentally because once you have a healthy mental game you can learn how to create anything you want in your life.
In this blog post, I’m going to help you lower mental fatigue, lower your stress level so you can live a healthier and happier life.
What is mental fatigue and how can you overcome it?
Mental fatigue is exactly what it sounds like you are tired from thinking and overly working your brain chemicals from working. I learned entering 2022 that this is the year of resting to receive and I want that from you as well.
This is coming from working hard not working smart. You have to learn how to pause from working hard and start working smart.
That means what can you do that generates the most impact for yourself and for your life?
That will always be taking care of your health and your finances. Remember you’re the biggest investment and the biggest priority so do you first even before any job!
Let’s work on creating actionable steps to overcome mental fatigue; first, identify where and why is it coming from the place it is coming from.
When you are looking at mental and emotional wellness; you’re looking at your frustrations and disappointments because that is usually where it comes from.
Ask yourself where do these frustrations come from and why are they appearing in your life?
Is it because you’re not enjoying the journey and frustrated with where you’re at? Or are you frustrated that someone outside of you is not cooperating with you?
Let’s speak about Enjoying the Journey.
We all want to change our situation like right now and I get it but what if I told you what your resists persist?
That means each time you complain, each time you’re frustrated your push back further what you want to bring in your life.
Learn how to understand that you created your reality and you have the opportunity to create that change today by changing your thoughts, and then taking actions toward what you want.
Here is the kicker though, you have to be conscious that you’re creating the reality of what you want.
I spoke about this in a recent Instagram Live in regards to creating positive expectations-if you are not conscious that going to the gym is going to bring you more of what you want then your time at the gym is wasted because your reps are not being accountable.
This even goes to me creating this blog post-it is my strategy for you to get to know me and my coaching style so you can enroll in my program Confidently Healthy, where I teach you how to change your self-concept to create sustainable healthy habits to create a healthier and happier life.
When you are learning how to embrace enjoying the journey you’re not worried about changing anything around you because you’re reaching peace within yourself to solely focus on what you need to do consistently to bring forth the life you want to live in your reality.
What is stress and how can you lower it?
Stress means you’re either growing of what you’re doing or you just either need to stop and pivot and move onward to something new.
A lot of people have been taught in this very dominating world to go through the work with pain but I believe that being sustainably consistent to produce the result you desire is where you want to be at.
For instance, it can be cycling at the gym and the highest pressure is causing you knee pain that could put you in a position to blow out your knee-why would you cause your knee stress and put yourself in that situation?
You can easily lower the nodule down and still proceed with your work out-the same goes with your business, job, and relationships.
Working hard is different than working consistently-you can applying pressure for what you want but that doesn’t mean you’re consistent with it; consistent means you’re winning the race.
Now you’re most likely wondering how can you lower your stress? You can begin by purchasing peppermint oil from Amazon and using it with a diffuser or rubbing the application on your hands to begin the process of removing stress.
I use peppermint as a way to relax when I need to calm down and I also used it during my healing process when I lost 67 pounds because of the amount of tension that I had stored in my body.
Peppermint really did save my life and it is a great start to lower stress and also to remove it.
