How to Start Losing Weight for 2022 by Changing your Self Concept
If you’re anything like the rest of the world you’re trying to get right, look sexier, feel healthier, and ultimately be happier while increasing your finances this year.
I don’t blame you at all.
I want you to know that there is nothing wrong with having a desire for these things there is a reason why the self-improvement market is a big industry selling millions of dollars a day.
It is just how you achieve these things, and if you’re new here I speak about achieving these things sustainably so you can keep, grow and maintain your success; just like I have by losing 67 pounds in one year!
A common question, that comes up is how do you start losing weight slowly, and is it slowly the best option for you to go?
The answer is yes you always want to go consistently and steady.
Being CONSISTENT 85% of the time will give you a passing grade and that is what you want to start out at first because you’re learning and growing once you have the foundation you then want to hit the 95% of the range because that is where you will start defining your body.
This concept is the exact reason why my signature program Confidently Healthy focuses on health, beauty, and happiness first before we go into any workout programs because your self-concept is not there; does that mean you will not lose weight?
Absolutely not! My client lost 4 pounds in 3 weeks without the gym eating all the Mexican food she wanted by working on her self-concept.
What is self-concept?
Now you are most likely asking yourself what is self-concept and how does it define weight loss?
Self-concept is the image you have of yourself and what you can achieve and it comes from the stories you tell yourself and the beliefs you believe to be true about you and what you can achieve.
You wouldn’t have started if you didn’t think it was achievable you started because you knew it was achievable so focus on refining and being consistent and your mind in the game of the person already having your desire.
How to Keep Your New Years Resolution.
So now you’re asking yourself what is the first step in actually being KEEPING this New Year Resolution in comparison to all of the OTHER years?
The key thing is understanding you’re never going to be here again-in your finances, in your weight, in your relationships-its time to level up your thermometer because everything comes from you.
Life comes from you and not to you.
Creating a Better Reality
That means you create your life and you do one step at a time, and holding the vibration of the person you already know who you are because you have that desire.
Let’s take this concept and apply it in the everyday form if you’re trying to lose weight you’re automatically becoming a healthy person by changing the habits you create daily to produce a different result.
You are no longer the person who reaches for the Cheeze Its rather you’re the person who reaches for the apple and actually eats it.
This small change is how you lose weight by changing your concept which results in stronger and healthier self-esteem.
What is a healthy self-concept?
Now that we discussed what is self concept and what creating a better reality looks like now you’re most likely wondering what does a healthy self-concept even looks like on an imperfect journey?
Having a healthy self-concept means you’re staying committed to taking daily consistent action and taking it consistently-remember slow and steady wins the race here. We are not going to be the hare here.
It means keeping your promise that you are going to start looking at yourself differently to change your health so you will never be here again.
You want to look at this process as a sculptor who is sculpting their body in a sustainable healthy way rather than just jumping ship without looking at what is truly is holding you back from achieving your weight loss goals.
Stop with the Fitness Trends.
The health and fitness market is out to get you confused on what to eat, how to eat, what type of workouts etc.
I remember when I first started on my health journey I was lost and confused and felt like I had to try it all. You don’t.
You need to heal your mental and emotional wounds towards what is the concept of being beautiful.
Once you understand the health and fitness industry is tapping into the concept of beautiful you will understand that you have to look internally to start becoming healthy.
This is how you will never be in the same place ever again by changing your concept of yourself.
