How To Lose 67 Pounds and Keep It OFF in 2022!

The new year is starting and people are creating resolutions to become healthier and change their lives which is awesome but what I need you to do is actually to do it and keep it to yourself.

Having mental health troubles these past four years and not being able to remember many of those four years has been a big blessing because there was one thing that I was unable with and that was my weight, as well as being mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually unhealthy.

.

You see one thing that I noticed was 67 pounds heavier and looking back through my weight loss journey that weight loss and becoming healthier reconnecting to my sexuality as well as my feminity was a spiritual and healing journey.

Your weight is a reflection of all of the emotional trauma that you hold on and I was holding on to A LOT OF IT. From not being chosen, being treated like a rug, you name it but it wasn’t until I did some hardcore studying within myself of choosing myself that I realized that it all came from me.

Now before we get into this, I don’t want you to think I don’t overeat and emotionally eat-I just did but I always bounce back up and I don’t let myself define myself over a mistake because I am a human learn and grow from it.

Plus, it always shocks me that we treat ourselves like murders and psychopaths when we overeat or binge eat. STOP DOING THIS!

Let me start back where I was when I was just 67 pounds heavier, I had a flash of who I wanted to present myself to and I knew I didn’t want to present myself like who I was.

.

Ask yourself, are you presenting yourself as who you want to be?

You have to start there-you see I teach weight loss a little differently than a lot of people as a health coach, I implement culture and many of my clients are people of color and so many of them attain this identity of the big black woman or the mom of the group etc.

Sometimes, these titles take on ill health and lower social economic opportunities that do not produce advancement and can further hinder yourself mentally, physically, emotionally, and spiritually that one is not even aware until one attempts to try to lose weight and the comments come-you don’t need to lose weight you’re fine.

This goes to my next thing.

When you’re losing weight-don’t tell anyone.

Just be you; create systems, habits, and routines that lift you up and amplify you to achieve your goals.

When you’re creating something you don’t have to announce it to the whole world rather learn how to create in silence like Michangelo.

You have to learn how to stay focused and learn how to habit stack and I think that was the only thing that really did save me because the mind likes to wander.

Looking at the hours and looking at the time is essential to losing weight because you know you are progressing forward to your weight loss journey when you’re measuring your progress.

.

This goes to my next thing.

Take progress pictures and videos toward your goal! I know you’re shy but you can’t be-someone wants your body and you’re someone dream body!

Showing your results and your progress out to the world is a sign that you’re trying and being consistent to your journey plus to living which is one thing in itself.

You have to think progress over perfection.

So what you messed up-the thing is you progressed forward.

.

Weight loss is a mindset and emotional thing. You gained the weight because you let people into your boat now you have to let people off your boat like how I did and I want to help you to do that with the exact systems and tools that  I used to get there.
